Expected Employment Outcome Example
Graduates of these courses will be able to work in the dance and acting fields of performing arts. The Bachelor of Dance Performance has an excellent reputation based on the success of many graduates who are employed by major companies in South Australia, Australia and overseas. The Advanced Diploma of Arts (Acting) students develop physical, intellectual and practical theatre skills through an ongoing program of classes in voice, music and singing, movement, history of theatre, film and television, acting, technical theatre and theatre skills.
Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.

Award Courses - SATAC application process
- Applications for 2008 - Semester One must be made through the centralised TAFE Admissions system via SATAC (South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre) by the advertised date.
- Applicants can make one application for up to six course preferences.
- Applications for Places Available courses are made direct to the relevant campus and a separate application is required for each course an applicant wants to study.

| This course is highly competitive. Applicants are required to attend an audition. An Audition Registration Pack will be sent to applicants following course application to SATAC. Applications and changes of preference to include this course for the first time will not be accepted after 31 October 2007. |

Qualification/Certification
Successful completion of this course provides you with Advanced Diploma of Arts (Acting). Students who elect to only do a certain number of modules within this Qualification will receive a Statement of Attainment.
Fees
Charges vary between courses and subjects and are based on a rate per hour. Concessions may be available to holders of certain government concession cards, and in some circumstances fees may be paid by instalment. A brochure detailing the refund of fees policy is available at each campus. The standard TAFE SA fee for State Government-subsidised courses undertaken by students enrolled in two consecutive semesters is capped at $1980 in 2008. This fee cap does not apply to all courses.
Students are generally expected to purchase their own textbooks, personal equipment, uniforms and stationery.
